How to Rebuild U.S. Mfg.

  • Change U.S. Tax Laws to eliminate perverse incentives that shift U.S. production and jobs overseas.
  • Abolish the IRS and support a Fair Tax System.
  • Repeal the Foreign Sales Corporation (FSC) / ETI Benefit that encourage the shift of manufacturing jobs overseas.
  • Support legislation that stops companies from incorporating overseas in order to avoid taxes.
  • Deny government contracts to companies that engage in abuses.
  • Oppose Trade Agreements that do not include meaningful protections for U.S. based small businesses.
  • Support FAIR and BALANCED Trade Legislation and punish those who use predatory business practices, manipulate currency to dump cheap, defective products in the U.S. market.
  • Oppose and/or repeal unfair Trade “deals” like the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Dominican Republic – Central American Free Trade Agreement (DR-CAFTA) and get out of the World Trade Organization (WTO) that have caused the U.S. Trade deficit to skyrocket, Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).
  • Develop a broad range of tax and other policy incentives to promote the assembly and manufacturing of products within the United States and to encourage U.S. investment in capital equipment and jobs.
  • Establish a Cabinet-level Secretary of Manufacturing.
  • Increase National Security by supporting measures that strengthen the Domestic Defense Manufacturing Base, including procurement reform, strong “Buy American” requirements, and limits to “offsets” that drain critical technology and jobs.
  • Enforce rules-based International Trade.
  • Support an amendment that all U.S. Government purchases are from U.S. OWNED, OPERATED, and DOMESTIC BASED companies – especially U.S. Defense Contracts so that National Security is not compromised.
  • Prevent market-distorting currency manipulation by RED CHINA and other foreign governments
